Which is safer,PP and PET?

PP is usually safer than PET. PP material is non-toxic, has good chemical stability, can be microwaved and does not decompose harmful substances at high temperatures. Although PET is food-grade, it may release DEHP and other substances at high temperatures.

PP (polypropylene) material is non-toxic, tasteless, odourless, and has excellent chemical stability. It is not easy to react with other substances under normal use. There is no need to add harmful substances in the production process. It has good heat resistance. It can be used to heat food in microwave ovens, and will not decompose harmful substances such as BPA under high temperature.

Although PET (polyethylene terephthalate) is a food-grade safe material and is widely used in food and beverage packaging, it may release harmful substances such as DEHP in a high-temperature environment, so avoid high temperatures when using PET containers.
